How the record stays at zero
Programs, not promises
Daily pre-task briefing
Every morning, every job: the day's cuts, the load paths, who is on fire watch, what changed since yesterday. An owner runs it, on the floor.
Hot-work permit and fire watch
BCK pulls the hot-work permit on every torch job. Dedicated fire watch during cutting and a post-work watch after. Welding blankets, shields and barriers at every station, charged water and extinguishers within reach. Heavy flame work goes outdoors whenever the section can travel first.
Rigging discipline
Weights characterized before the first cut, load paths planned, purpose-built rigging proof-tested before it carries a load. Nothing gets picked on a guess.
Confined space and pits
Boiler pits, tank interiors and crawl spaces are treated as what they are: atmosphere checked, attendant posted, retrieval planned. We have been in enough of them to respect them.
Silica and dust
Wet methods and HEPA capture on masonry and refractory work, per OSHA Table 1. Dust control at the door on occupied jobs.
PPE, every person, every day
Hard hat, eye protection, gloves, respiratory protection when the work calls for it. Crew and day labor alike. No exceptions for the owners.
Refrigerant
Recovered, weighed, documented
Refrigerant recovery is regulated under EPA Section 608 and nothing gets vented on our jobs. Our EPA 608 Universal certified tech recovers it in house, or a certified recovery partner does when the size of the job makes that the smarter call. Either way it is cylindered by type, weighed, and reported in a signed record: pounds by type, cylinder manifest, technician certification, receiving facility. That record goes in your closeout.
Asbestos
Licensed work stays licensed
Older mechanical rooms hide asbestos in insulation, gaskets and pipe wrap. Abatement in Colorado is licensed work and we don't do it. When it is present or suspected, a licensed abatement contractor retained by the client clears it first, we coordinate our schedule with theirs, and then we cut. If we find suspect material mid-job we stop in that area and notify you before anyone touches it. Share your asbestos survey with us at the walk and it goes in the plan.
Insurance
Coverage in force
The certificate your vendor onboarding needs, with the limits it will ask about. Certificates, additional-insured endorsements, waiver of subrogation and primary wording are furnished per written contract, within one business day of acceptance.

Documentation
What a GC can hand to an owner
- Written proposal with scope, termination points, schedule and terms, valid 30 days.
- Certificate of insurance, W-9 and additional-insured endorsements within one business day of acceptance.
- Hot-work permits and fire-watch logs on request.
- Closeout package: scope-of-work completion verification, captioned before-and-after record by work area, EPA 608 recovery record when refrigerant was involved, certification of completion signed by both managing members.
- Technical analysis and rigging plan for landmark or complex removals, on request.
Credentials
Held and in progress
- Held: OSHA 30-Hour Construction, both managing members (2026). EPA Section 608 Universal (Saber Dean). All field personnel OSHA-trained at a minimum.
- In progress: rigging and crane certifications for both owners; EPA 608 for Gadge Bell; air-quality credentials.
- Planned: the coverage depth and certified payroll that institutional and government work asks for, on the calendar for 2027.
We publish what we hold and say plainly what we are still earning. Ask for the cards; we will send them.
